KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The University of Nebraska at Kearney will not serve alcohol at Saturday’s football game against Chadron State because of unforeseen issues with vendor insurance.

UNK and Loper Athletics are working with the vendor to meet university requirements. They expect compliance will allow alcohol sales at future games at Cope Stadium.

The sale of alcohol was approved for UNK football games at the beginning of August.
