After reviewing an agreement between Greeley and the Colorado Eagles as part of the Catalyst project, the city council decided to review the deal in more detail during its work session next Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the city council was scheduled to approve the principal and primary terms with the Colorado Eagles minor league hockey team, which lays the groundwork for the team’s move to Greeley in 2028 and its subsequent 40-year stay. The Eagles have been the linchpin for the Catalyst entertainment district since the beginning, as city officials believe the new hockey arena included in the project will bring in a great deal of revenue.
