D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WLOX) - A threat was called in to D’Iberville High School on Thursday afternoon, according to Police Chief Marty Griffin.

Multiple law enforcement officers responded to the scene.

Griffin said so far, they have not found anything to suggest the threat is credible.

The investigation is ongoing, but officials believe this could have been a swatting call.

A message was sent to parents stating that the high school was under a “precautionary lockdown” due to the threat. Since then, the all-clear has been given, and officials say all students and staff are safe.

As of 2:30 p.m., all school operations have returned to normal.
