Major changes were put in place this week for one of the most popular radio programs on TSN – and fans aren’t exactly happy.
OverDrive , the afternoon program hosted on TSN 1050 by former NHLers Jamie McLennan and Jeff O’Neill, as well as personality Bryan Hayes, has been cut from three hours to two as it returned to the airwaves following a summer break.
The program still begins at its usual time of 4 p.m. ET, but will end at 6 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.
“Changing to 2 hours is certainly a move.. 3 hours was really too much to ask for? Smh,” fan Josh Feintuch wrote .
While the trio isn’t exactly the level of “shock-jock” that became a staple of sports radio coverage in the 1990s and early 2000s, it’s generally seen as one of the lighter programs under the TSN umbrella.
