CHICOPEE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - As the summer comes to a close, the countdown to holiday season officially begins and one local farm is working to help you get a head start this weekend.

“I think Christmas trees are on everybody’s top ten things that are beautiful in the world,” said Susan Lopes with Paul Bunyon Farm and Nursery.

The sunshine may say summer, but starting Saturday, Paul Bunyan’s Farm and Nursery is saying Merry Christmas. “Usually, the first two days open, I sell over 300 Christmas trees,” Lopes added.
