NEW YORK (PIX11) -- As we dive into September, the days are getting noticeably shorter, and it is anticipated that sunset will occur before 7 p.m. in the near future.

With the first day of autumn just weeks away, we will soon be changing the clocks for the end of daylight saving time.

Daylight saving time will end on Sunday, November 2, at 2 a.m.

Clocks are set back one hour, meaning sunrise and sunset will be around an hour earlier than the day before.

Daylight saving time in 2026 will begin on Sunday, March 8. Clocks are set forward an hour.
