COVE, Pa. (WHTM) -- A local Sheetz may soon get a facelift if zoners approve.

Sheetz is seeking approval from the Penn Township Zoning Hearing Board to rebuild their location on Route 11, across from the Rohrer Bus depot.

"While we continue to work closely with local officials, our proposed store rebuilds typically feature enhanced restaurant-style experiences with additional self-service kiosks, Made-To-Order stations and self-checkout stations," Nick Ruffner, Public Affairs Manager for Sheetz, told abc27 News. "If approved, construction would tentatively begin next summer, with completion expected by year’s end. "
