HYDE PARK, Vt. (WCAX) - Gov. Phil Scott says the state of Vermont should not buy the Green River Reservoir Dam.

For years, Morrisville Water and Light has raised concerns about the cost of maintenance, raising questions about who should own the dam, and what it means for the pristine Green River Reservoir behind it.

A new report from the state this week shows the dam is in good shape and that it has a big economic impact on the community.
