PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A man was arrested after allegedly firing shots at his neighbor in Central Peoria on Wednesday.

Jonathan Hudson, 34, was arrested on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a valid FOID card and criminal damage to property.

Officers with the Peoria Police Department were called at 6:35 p.m. to the 1000 block of West Thrush Avenue to a report of shots fired, said police spokeswoman Semone Roth.

When officers arrived, they were told by a 59-year-old man that a neighbor had allegedly shot at him, but he was not injured, Roth said.

Hudson was identified as a person of interest and was found inside a home at the scene of the shooting, Roth said.
