CLINTON, Wis. (WMTV) - Grant County authorities believe a crash over the weekend near Livingston was caused by a man trying to break apart a fight between two dogs.

A 42-year-old Georgia man was driving a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado the morning of Aug. 31 on a private field road to do repairs on a wind turbine site, explained Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said the man had two dogs in the truck with him at the time, and they started fighting.

Deputies believe the driver tried to intervene, which led him to crash in front of an unhooked semi trailer. Grant Co. officials said the driver’s side of the truck cab was wedged under the front of the semi trailer.
