LUMBER CITY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced Thursday that they arrested two people in connection to the fatal shooting in Lumber City on Aug. 19 .

The GBI said Telfair County police responded to a 911 call on Aug. 18 around 8:50 p.m., and found a man who had been shot multiple times. Dwayne Clark, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.

David Walker, 21, from Hawkinsville, and Sharonda Guyton, 19, from Eastman were arrested and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and aggravated battery, according to the GBI.

Walker and Guyton were already in custody on unrelated charges, per the press release.

The GBI said that Clark was found dead in his home on Church Street by a relative and that they conducted multiple interviews relating to the case.
