On Aug. 26, deputies stopped a gold Hyundai Sonata on I-580 near Chrisman Road after it committed multiple traffic violations, according to the sheriff's office.

K9 Rango alerted deputies to the odor of narcotics inside the car during the stop. Officials said that deputies found a backpack during a search of the car that contained 10 bags of vacuum-sealed packages of meth weighing nearly 11 pounds in the trunk.
