LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo said Thursday there is no evidence that state financial data was compromised during a recent cyberattack.
“To the best of our knowledge at this time, the data compromised did not include state financial information,” Lombardo said. “No state bank account numbers, treasury funds or state budget payment systems’ data appeared to have been part of the breach.”
He said recovery efforts from the cyberattack have continued 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including over the Labor Day holiday on Monday. Lombardo noted that the typical recovery timeline for a cyberattack can span weeks to months, but said Nevada is ahead of that projection.
Lombardo also announced that in-person driver’s license services would resume Friday. Other DMV servic
