LAKE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A Painesville man was sentenced to over two and a half years in prison for making bomb threats on consecutive days to the Lake County Clerk of Courts and the Lake County Adult Probation Department.

On Sept. 19, the Lake County Clerk of Courts received an email that stated a bomb had been placed in the Lake County Adult Probation Department on East Erie Street in Painesville, and it would be detonated in twenty-five minutes.

That prompted the evacuation of the Lake County Clerk of Court and the Lake County Adult Probation Department.

The next day, around 8:00 a.m., the Lake County Adult Probation Department received a phone call where the caller stated they would bomb the Adult Probation Department.
