Wood Buffalo RCMP say police and firefighters were called to two residential house fires on Sept. 3 at around 12:36 a.m. One home was a total loss and the other had major property damage. No one was inside either home and there were no reported injuries. Article content

Wood Buffalo RCMP arrested a suspect at the scene. Judith Janvier of the Chipewyan Prairie First Nation has been charged with two counts of arson and one count of breaking and entering. She has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Fort McMurray Court of Justice on Sept. 24.
