Yukon Wildland Fire Management is providing a full response to a wildfire burning north of the community of Marsh Lake.
According to an update from the agency, the Grayling Creek fire is 0.5 hectares in size and is located in the critical fire management zone.
"We are providing a full response to this wildfire, where an aggressive initial attack takes place with the goal of containing the fire and putting it out as quickly as possible," reads the update from Wildland Fire Management.
A Facebook post from Yukon Protective Services features a photo of a plume of smoke rising not far from the shore of Marsh Lake.
"Two crews, one helicopter, as well as the Marsh Lake Volunteer Fire Department, are currently working on containing the fire and putting it out as quickly as possible," reads th
