A newly married man was seen telling his wife he had not felt instantly attracted to her on the latest episode of Stranded on Honeymoon Island.

The BBC One dating show returned for its second episode on Thursday, hosted by Davina McCall on a gorgeous Philippine island.

In the show, a group of hopeful singletons first meet at a speed-dating event, before they’re shipped off to the tropical isle and paired up for a series of non-legally-binding weddings on a jetty.

Among the latest batch of contestants who tied the knot were David and Ini, who bonded over their shared Christian faith at the speed-dating event.
