WARRINGTON — Central Bucks West earned six penalty corners in the first quarter of its battle for first place in the Suburban One League Colonial Division against Central Bucks South Thursday afternoon.

The Bucks came up empty on their first three corners, but converted each of the final three. The early three-goal lead set the tone for a 7-2 CB West win at Central Bucks South High School.

“It was good to come out strong,” CB West junior Zola Morelli said. “We know every time that we play a good rival school they’re going to come out even harder… It was good to get three right off the bat.”
