NOLENSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Nolensville Police Department is rolling out a new bicycle unit to help serve the Town and engage with the community on a more personal level.
"We want to be able to talk to you, find out what's going on, and we want you to know we're out there and we're concerned and looking out for everyone's safety,” NPD Lt. Josh Combs told News 2.

Thanks to a donation from Mercedes-Benz of Music City, the NPD is now equipped with three bicycles. By riding bikes, NPD officials said officers can patrol special events more easily and respond to emergencies in difficult terrain faster.
