MINNEAPOLIS — The start of Thursday’s Chicago White Sox game against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field has been delayed because of rain.
“First pitch for tonight’s game will be delayed,” read a message on the video board. “We will provide updates when available.”
The series finale was slated to begin at 6:40 p.m. The Sox won the first three games of the four-game set.
The Sox plan on having Fraser Ellard as the opener Thursday with Jonathan Cannon in line for the bulk role. The Sox recalled Cannon from Triple-A Charlotte earlier Thursday.
