KENNEWICK, Wash. – Six months after being arrested on a vehicular homicide charge in the death of Jhoser Sanchez, Washington State Patrol Trooper Sarah Clasen now faces arraignment in Benton County Superior Court.
Clasen’s arraignment is set for September 24 at 8:30 a.m on a charge of Vehicular Homicide while under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drug, according to court records.
On March 1, 2025, Clasen, who was off-duty, was arrested after Sanchez was hit while riding his motorcycle and killed.
Clasen’s reported blood alcohol level was 0.17 percent, which is more than double the legal limit.
