The Navy's Blue Angels are back in New Hampshire for the first time in more than a decade, bringing their iconic air show to Pease Air Base in Portsmouth this weekend.

Locals gathered outside the base to watch the high-flying spectacle during Thursday's rehearsal.

"The way these guys fly, it's so close together. It's quite a sight to see," said Les Carvonneau, who lives near the base.

"I love when they have all four of them together and then they do their tricks together and separate and then just come back together," said Emily Hoey, who describes herself as a "military brat."
