TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima Regional Critical Incident Team (PRCIT) has announced the identity of the suspect who was a part of the officer-involved shooting on the northside of Tucson.

Cody Hudson, 29, has been identified by PRCIT as the individual involved in an armed standoff on Aug. 11 . The incident ended on the same day after an hours-long confrontation with law enforcement at an apartment complex on West Linda Vista Boulevard.

Hudson is currently in the hospital and has been booked in absentia into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex on original charges of domestic violence, PRCIT said.
