SARATOGA SPRINGS — Five area residents who protested Saratoga Springs’ new "camping" ordinance had their day in city court Thursday. Four of them will return next month.

The controversial “camping prohibited” measure forbids anyone who might “sleep or lie or sit on or in any city property” and includes sitting on curbs and lying across public benches and inside of doorways adjacent to a public sidewalk. City property includes public sidewalks, street medians, public parking garages and parking lots.
