PHILADELPHIA — Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter was kicked out of Thursday’s night game against the Dallas Cowboys before the first snap.
Carter was captured on the broadcast spitting in quarterback Dak Prescott’s face, which drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and an ejection.
Carter’s poor decision-making could hurt the Eagles’ defense. He is one of the best defensive players in the NFL, wrecking games on a consistent basis.
Philadelphia’s defensive line might not generate a lot of pressure without Carter. The Cowboys scored a touchdown on the first drive of the game. A 32-yard catch from wide receiver CeeDee Lamb moved Dallas to Philadelphia’s one-yard line. Two plays later, Cowboys running back Javonte Williams crossed the end zone.
