Eagles superstar defensive tackle Jalen Carter got disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct on Thursday night before the first defensive snap of the game.

The NBC replay showed that Carter spit on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

There was an extra long delay before the Cowboys’ first offensive snap after Eagles fullback and special teamer Ben VanSumeren went down on the opening kick. As VanSumeren was waiting for a cart to take him inside, Carter and the Cowboys exchanged words. VanSumeren (knee) has already already ruled out.

After Carter was ejected, he walked to the sideline and was escorted to the tunnel by Eagles chief security officer Dom DiSandro.
