High-risk sex offender registers north Fargo address

FARGO -- A high-risk sex offender has registered a north Fargo address.

Chad Michael Klein, 54, is 6-foot, weighs 200 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair, according to a release from the Fargo Police Department.

He has registered a new address at 1310 11th St. N.

In 2000, Klein was convicted of gross sexual imposition in McLean District Court in North Dakota. The victim was a 31-year-old female. In 2023, Klein was convicted of child abuse in Burleigh County in North Dakota.

The North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee determined he has a high risk of re-offending.

He is a lifetime registrant.
