A Pomona man faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison for killing three women when he drove drunk, ran a red light and crashed into their car last year in Pomona.

The victims were on their way home after attending a baby shower in Moreno Valley.

Victor Siharath, 37, pleaded no contest on Wednesday, Sept. 3, to three counts of murder and one count of driving under the influence causing injury, said Greg Risling, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

He will be sentenced Sept. 18 at Pomona Superior Court, Risling said.
