Evacuation levels remained unchanged as easterly winds pushed the fire into the French Corral area, Chelan County Emergency Management said in a release.

The fire is sill active along the entire perimeter. Crews are prepping roads and containment features along the western edge to keep the fire above the Chumstick Hwy corridor.

Efforts to secure Forest Service Road 52 and lines in the Indian Creek and Tillicum Creak drainages are ongoing.

Firefighters are also preparing a containment line from Roaring Ridge to Moe Ridge, with helicopter support.
