A petition requesting the Yukon Community Services minister to call for an independent investigation into the conduct of the mayor and council of the Town of Faro has been submitted to the minister.

That petition follows a similar request from earlier in 2025 by Faro councilor Neil Yee, who alleges he has been bullied, threatened, harassed and intimidated by the town’s mayor and former chief administrative officer, commonly known as CAO.
