It was a quick night for Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter.

The Eagles Pro Bowlers who was going to anchor the defensive line against the Dallas Cowboys Sept. 4 in the NFL season opener didn't make it through one play.

Carter was ejected after the opening kickoff for spitting on Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott.

It didn't take long for social media to go bonkers over the ejection on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Of course, Seinfeld fans couldn't resist commenting. The consensus was that Carter was the second spitter.

The jokes were referring to the Seinfeld episode where the characters Kramer and Newman were allegedly spit on by New York Met Keith Hernandez – only to find out it was Roger McDowell.
