On Saturday nights at the Santa Maria Speedway, amid the roar of engines and the smell of fuel, racecar driver Justin Jackson has dominated the Mini Stock class in 2025 with five wins out of eight starts.
He’s quick to correct anyone who thinks it’s been a perfect run, however.
“We’re doing pretty good this season. We've won most of them, but we haven't won all of them,” said Jackson, 36, owner of Justin Jackson’s Plumbing Services in Five Cities.
His racing team is a family affair including his wife Angie, who bought his car, his stepdad, who works at Jackson's business and is his crew chief, and his son Karson, also a crew chief.
“That kid works hard on the car, wrenches on the car at the house. He does a lot for me to get me to the track and make sure I'm there all the time," said J
