The Irish comedy writer launched into angry hysterics after he was taken into custody by five Metropolitan Police officers in England on Monday after arriving on an American Airlines flight from Arizona, the audio revealed, according to The Sun . 3
“It is alleged that on 19th April 2025, you published a post on X that was deemed to be intended to instill hatred and incite violence on the grounds of sexual orientation,” an unidentified bobby informed Linehan.
“What was the post?” Linehan, 57, asked according to the audio .
“I can’t tell you at the moment,” the officer replied.
“Are you f–king serious? I’m a f–king comedy writer.
