Samsung’s Moving Style Edge defies easy categorisation.

That’s only partly because limited information has been shared with the English-language press.

It’s a hybrid device that is a 32-inch part TV, part monitor and part design piece that supports OTT (Over The Top) apps and offers 4K resolution.

It was launched in South Korea on August 1, but doesn’t appear to have been promoted much outside of Samsung’s homeland since that launch.

Possibly because Samsung is planning on a high-profile global debut at IFA, where the company is showcasing its ever-expanding Lifestyle portfolio.

Channel News may have more information to share in the coming days, but here’s what is currently known.

It’s in the mould of Samsung’s other design-driven screens, such as The Frame, The Serif and The Sero.
