Taste of Chicago will return to Grant Park for the 45th consecutive year this weekend.

Operating from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, Taste of Chicago will take over Grant Park Sept. 5-7.

Prior to 2023, the long-standing culinary celebration occurred in early-to-mid July. But 2 years ago, it shifted to September to accommodate the NASCAR Chicago Street Race .

Admission is free and all vendors at the festival take credit cards, though the city warns that very few take cash.

Unlike previous years, no Taste tickets will be sold, according to the city's website. Instead, all food and beverage can be purchased from vendors directly.

Entrance gates for the festival are located on Jackson Drive west of Columbus Drive, on Ida B. Wells east of Michigan Avenue, and at the intersection of Columbus
