Northwestern Lehigh 54, Bangor 14 — Rapid Recap

The Northwestern Lehigh High School football team celebrated its first home game since winning last year’s PIAA Class 3A championship by completely dominating Bangor 54-14 on Thursday night.

The Tigers took a 21-0 lead less than five minutes into the game and never looked back in their 19th consecutive victory since the start of last season.

Turning points : Northwestern only needed three plays and 32 seconds to go 41 yards on its first offensive drive to make it a 7-0 lead. Senior Braxton Lakatosh ran for a 4-yard touchdown to cap the drive and make it a seven-point advantage with 9:20 left in the first quarter.
