The Louisville City Council voted Thursday evening to put two resident-led initiatives on the Nov. 4 ballot after those measures got the OK to move forward through a hearing process earlier this week.
If passed by voters in November, the first initiative would restrict City Council from rezoning Centennial Valley, Redtail Ridge and the Avista Adventist Hospital area for residential use, except for developments in those areas that would include 30% affordable housing for households with an income of 80% of the area’s median income or less. The second initiative would change the way Louisville imposes impact fees on developers.
