HB 1: Texas camp emergency preparedness

House Bill 1 in part requires Texas camps to create an emergency plan for staff and campers with procedures for many possible disasters and emergencies.

The change comes after the devastating flooding in the Texas Hill Country on the Fourth of July, resulting in the deaths of 25 campers and two staffers at Camp Mysti
