Celtic starlet Colby Donovan believes he can take playing for the Hoops in his stride as he prepares to step up to be a key first-team pick.
Donovan is set to start for Scot Gemmill’s Scotland Under-21s in their opening Euro 2027 qualifier tonight in the Czech Republic.
He turns 19 on Sunday and has been thrust into the limelight following injuries to Alistair Johnston and Tony Ralston.
The Canadian is expected to be out for a couple of months with a hamstring problem while Ralston pulled out of the senior Scotland squad this week with an ankle issue.
Donovan is now the only fit recognised right-back in the squad and looks certain to start against Kilmarnock next Sunday, with games coming up in the Premier Sports Cup and Europa League as well.
