After last year’s inaugural event, the Southern Utah Book Festival is back for its second year.

Scheduled to run from Sept. 15-20 in Cedar City, the event is designed to bring to together readers, writers, and book enthusiasts from across the region to celebrate literature, storytelling, and community.

According to a recent news release, this year’s festival includes the following highlights:

Film by John DiAntonio: Known for his theatrical collaborations as the Artistic Director of Utah Shakespeare Festival, John DiAntonio’s first feature length film, “What She Carried,” will have its first Cedar City showing on Thursday, Sept. 18 at the Cedar Fun Center.
