EUREKA — Liv Antrobus watched closely as the softly hit ground ball bounced off her glove and rolled helplessly away.
The Parkway West freshman pitcher had an explanation for her second-inning bobble Thursday night in the championship game of the Parkway Tournament.
"Sometimes, I'm not that good at fielding my position," Antrobus said.
Antrobus certainly was good at everything else.
The 14-year-old tossed a nifty six-hitter to lead the Longhorns to a 5-1 win over Eureka in the finale of the three-day softball tournament at Lions Park in Eureka.
Parkway West (5-2) won the talent-rich affair for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
It also gained a measure of revenge after dropping a 6-0 decision to Eureka in round-robin pool play Tuesday.
But most importantly, the Longhorns beat
