Following WWE's Clash in Paris and Raw, all the buzz lately has been about retired star AJ Lee potentially returning to the ring. Speculation kicked into overdrive when Becky Lynch attacked CM Punk during the Fatal Fourway match in France.

That carried over into a war of words on the mic, and Becky and Punk cut promos on WWE Raw. Adding to the rumors that Punk's wife might return to help him were massive chants from the fans in France for AJ Lee.

All of that has led many to believe that when SmackDown occurs in Chicago on Friday, AJ Lee will make her return and receive a major pop. Punk is scheduled to be in his hometown, so it seems to line up.
