The words Carmelo Anthony will share on Saturday are going to be profound, unfiltered, and probably unedited. Mostly because he didn’t give the organizers of the Hall of Fame ceremony much time to trim it. (Not saying that it’s what they do but they probably needed to see if he was within the time limit.) Addressing a room full of peers and veterans is decidedly the biggest and most emotional moment for any inductee. From the moment he was elected to headline the 2025 class, the speech was something Melo struggled with the most. He even asked 2023 inductee, Dwyane Wade for advice. From the looks of it, he took his own sweet time to pen the most meaningful words of his life.
