Concerns have been raised over a 'lack of access' to a new Nuneaton school. The new Higham Lane North Academy off Higham Lane welcomed its first ever intake of pupils Thursday (September 3).
The creation of the school is one of the key features of the huge Top Farm development, which will include 1,700 homes as well as a northern link road . The road element of has been brought into question by a local, who contacted CoventryLive.
The resident raised concerns about a 'lack of access' to the school. "From what I understand part of the planning permission for building was the completion of an access road prior to the school opening.
"This has not been done and only after force to the builders have they opened up a pathway to give children a walking route from the new estate."
