AMHERST – The reigning Western Massachusetts Class A champions are being tested to start their 2025 campaign, with three straight road games, including back-to-back games against tough opponents.

However, Longmeadow kicked off its season on the right note on Thursday, with a sweep over Amherst. The Lancers took the three sets at 25-17, 25-10, and 25-16 to add their first tally in the win column.
