(FOX40.COM) - Part of Garden Highway in Sacramento is closed after a car ran off the roadway downhill and into a fence, according to the Sacramento Police Department. • Video Above: What to do if you witness a crash

Around 8:30 p.m., SPD responded to the 2200 block of Sandcastle Way regarding reports of a vehicle accident from Garden Highway. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman outside of the vehicle, near a fence downhill.

The woman was taken to a local hospital. Her condition is unclear.

As of 10 p.m. Garden Highway between Truxel Road and Northgate Boulevard is closed while law enforcement investigates the incident.
