STERLING HEIGHTS – After finishing third in the Macomb Area Conference White Division a year ago, Fraser’s volleyball team has its sights on challenging for the league title this season.

The Ramblers opened league play on the road Wednesday and came away with a 3-0 win over hoist Sterling Heights Stevenson. Fraser posted scored of 25-17, 25-18, 25-13 in the sweep to move to 2-2-0 overall and 1-0 in the MAC-White Division.

Sam Smith had a fine all-around game by finishing 17-for-18 serving with nine service points and two aces, while she was also a perfect 42-for-42 setting with a game-high 20 assists for Fraser.
