Sydney radio host Ben Fordham has shared his fury after learning a pro-Palestine 'paddle out' was being planned at Bondi Beach for Father’s Day, but also denounced the local mayor's plan to stop it.

Numerous social media pages, including that of Greens Senator David Shoebridge, have endorsed the Solidarity With Gaza 'paddle out' which invites all surfers, Bondi residents and pro-Palestine surfers on Sunday to take part.

The event is set to begin at 10am and is organised by the Jews Against the Occupation group, a self-proclaimed organisation of anti-Zionist Jews living in Australia.

The Australian Jewish Association took to X on Wednesday to say the Jewish community was not going to stay idle and allow a “bunch of troublemakers” to spread “hate” at Bondi.
