WHITTIER – La Serna junior quarterback Grady Long threw four touchdown passes and junior running back Daniel Moreno scored twice to lead the Lancers to a 42-7 win over visiting Warren on Thursday night in a nonleague game at California High.

Long had a game-high 189 passing yards as he completed 13 of 16 passes for the Lancers (2-1).

Long’s favorite target was junior wide receiver Landon Armenta, who had 83 yards on five catches and a touchdown.

Senior running back Isaac Lopez Del Haro had 51 yards on eight carries, and junior running back Jordan Bonilla added 31 yards on six carries. He also had an interception.

“Our defense has been doing their thing all year long up to this point,” La Serna coach Andy George said.
