MIDDLEBURG — A former unpaid volunteer assistant baseball coach at Susquehanna University who had an encounter with a police officer following a game in 2024 has been placed on probation.
Sadler Wesley Rogers, 35, of Lewisburg, was sentenced Thursday by Snyder County Judge Lori Hackenberg on charges of simple assault and resisting arrest, to which he had pleaded guilty in July.
Rogers was charged in May 2024 after the River Hawks’ 8-7 win over Drew in a play-in game to qualify for the Landmark Conference tournament.
